Kununurra to Ngumban Cliff rest area

 We left Kununurra on the 12th Feb as the lake by the camp ground was filling up again after being lowered to clear rushes from lake edge. Loved this camp site and pool.

Drove to Leycesters rest area for an overnight stop. Lots of rain around with thunder all round. River flooded here too.

Next day we stopped at Halls Creek to top up fuel and had to pass a road train we had previously passed, VHF radio is a must out here had makes these manoeuvres safer as, when asked, these drivers will give you a heads up when to overtake. 

Also stopped a Warmun for a recommeded burger, it was a real burger with meat, beetroot, egg etc, yum.

Ngumban rest area, very picturesque and on high nground.

This small water hole got a lot bigger.

A road crossing ahead have 1 metre of water last night and was virtually dry by 10am next day (asked several travellers who stopped to use the rest area.) so we quickly packed up and carried on which was fortnate because that night it closed for several days.
