Derby WA

 Got to Derby on 15th Feb. Brief showers but still got to have a look round. This area of WA has hugh tidal movement, up over 11 meters. This port was mainly stock shipping, boat would come in on high tide then end up sitting on the ground at low tode. The ship was then loaded (no rocking the boat) and sail on the next high, easy as.

Went for a walk along the tidal flats walkway. some fine artwork along the wak. This is all lit up at night.

Also checked out the famous prison tree part of a not so good history.
