More NT excursions

 Have had some lazy days at Kates fixing a few things and visiting Palmerston & Darwin shopping areas. Or just relaxing in the garden watching the birds.

Did some 4WD tracks. Reynolds Track (day trip).

This was through Litchfield National Park. The track goes through bushland, big flat open planes and cool river crossings. Sandy track and some rocky track and a few billabongs.

In Kakadu National Park we went with a cool group of friends to Gunlom Falls and the amazing Jim Jim falls. Stayed in swags and cooked on a camp fire (our home made cooker)

Returned to Kates via old Jim Jim road and the Bark Hut pub (of course).

Had an over night trip to a rodeo held at Mt Bundy station. Took the 'van.

Rodeos held in evening so it is cooler, then an after party with live music.

Took a side trip to Robyn Falls, dirt track.

Had an over night at Gunn Point beach. Swagged on the sand.

Very shallow so tide goes out a long way.
