Fishing the NT

 Hi, we have been on several fishing trips on Kate & Digger's boat. have been out via Leaders creek and Adelaide river. Also blue water by Vernon islands. many species of fish caught but most too small to take. Have kept a couple of nice thread fin salmon, excellent eating. heaps of flamin catfish and a queenie, no good. caught jew fish, mangrove jack but too small. also a couple of black tip reef sharks also let go after carefully removing hooks. Got two big golden snapper and a couple of smaller ones on last trip, excellent eating. No Barra though. Did a couple of runs up to Goat island  on the Adelaide river for a beer and a buffelo burger and some banter with Kai the owner. Lots of crocs and some big ones as this is home of the jumping croc tours.
