Cober Pedy to Daly Waters

Sad to leave Cober Pedy. Drove for a couple of hours, then stopped in at Marla roadhouse for lunch. Alex had the biggest burger I have ever seen, drove for another few hours, and arrived at Agnes Creek pull over for the night. No toilets or anything in most of these pull overs.

The next day we finally entered the Northern Territory. Kate will be happy, she was asking if she will see us by Christmas. Stopped at Redbank, in Owen's Reserve. A bit of a 4 wheel drive track greeted us, (Alex  loved it) Finally found a spot by the non existant river. Runs in wet season only. Ended up staying 2 nights there. It was so peaceful and lovely.

Next stop Alice Springs, but only for water, diesel and groceries, then on to Barrow Creek pull over for the night

. Next morning we stopped at Devils Marbles. Amazing bolders. Sacred site for the Aborigines.

Carried on driving till we got to Attack Creek. Another stopover for the night. Getting the hang of this free camping now.

Left for Daly Waters early, as no bookings taken, first in best dressed. Got a good site there. Enjoyed the pool, bar and restarant. Stayed 3 nights there, as quite a bit to see. met some lovely fellow travellers too.
