Travelled from Exmouth to Carnavon with a roadside stop for lunch. Carnavon was used for a crutial link in the Appollo missions with a relay and tracking station. Now an excellent museum of space history. (even Elon has a display) Day trip to the Quobba Bolw Holes was awesome. We checked it out before lunch (incoming tide) then had the most amazing snorkle in the araeby the picnic zone. The most fish and most varieties so close together I have ever seen (have snorkelled the Great Barrier and other reefs) . Really neede a Go Pro. Back to blow hole at high tide...... Checked out a few historical sites also. Memorial walk for the Sailors of the HMAS Sydney sunk in WWII, all lives lost. Well presented cultural displays Amazing snorkelling

Visited the Aquarium, checked out the town centre. Went up to see the canyons on the plateau behind the town then for a swim again. Next day went on a semi-submersable to the Ningaloo Reef. saw lots of different coral but hard to phot the fish. Saw turtles, Dugong and stingrays also. From there we went to Turquoise Bay, wow, if you could design a beach, this was it. Heaps of fish, gorgous  pure white sand and clear water. awesome snorkelling. Ended the day with a pizza at the Whalebone restaurant, great chill setting. Check out the smoker! military comms area & RAAF base just out of town. buses for tourists on the whaleshark experiance.
