Aussie Trip

 New Year on Darwin water front, and some good sessions at Kate & Dougs.

 Lots of wildlife about.  Rescue wallaby making itself at home in Spuds bed! frogs everywhere. Horse of course. resident wallaby with another joey on board. spot the lizard. night stalking. feeding the Wip Rays. They loved Mel. fresh hatched locust. And a baby water python that dropped on my head from varanda roof! Kates new emu at wildlife park.

 Lots of fishing with Doug and Kate on her days off, in rivers, sea, billabongs & lakes, but not much luck. Wanted some fish for fish tacos made by Kate but when nothing was forth comming we got this.. Chicken pie. but never give up. 56cm Barramundi, tacos were yum.  After a spell back in NZ due to family illness I returned to Aussie 2nd Dec while Shell & sister sorted her Mums affairs. Caravan weathered the 2025 cyclone all intact and dry. Moved from storage back to Kate & Doug's block. Wet season in NT so photos of storm clouds. Spud looking the wrong way.  Great lightning displays most days.
